INCREASING CAPACITY TO SERVE

In the summer of 2009, the Care Service embarked on a plan to serve more people in need in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. Part of that plan involved purchasing a larger home for our mission and collaborating with other organizations to provide services in the same location, which we would name the Tri-County Outreach Center.

As a result, the Care Service purchased a building in which to provide those services and began raising the funds necessary to do so.  With the help of many individuals, corporations, and organizations, our vision came to life and the Tri-County Outreach Center now houses Woman’s Place and the Family Support Division of the Department of Social Services.

Our new location has helped us improve the delivery of our services to those who are vulnerable.  As we strive to serve more people in need and in greater depth, we begin to focus on the need to build our capacity and raise the funds necessary to serve the community for years to come.

Your contribution to Friends of the Care Service, our capacity-building campaign, will be used to provide for the most immediate critical need.
