Volunteer with
The Care Service
Are you looking for a way to help individuals and families in our local community?
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. Each week, nearly 200 volunteers share their time and talents to help The Care Service prevent homelessness and hunger. Our volunteers dedicate over 100,000 hours of service annually, making a significant difference in the lives of over 3,000 individuals.
About Volunteering
Since 1981, the Care Service has built strong ties with the community and relies heavily on this collaboration to carry out our mission. In addition to monetary support and in-kind contributions, we regularly receive volunteer service from local businesses, churches, schools, health providers, civic organizations and individuals and families in the community. Our volunteers alone dedicate over 100,000 hours of their time each year.
We also partner with many agencies and community resources to fill the gaps of service that are necessary to help clients reach sustainability. Without the efforts of the entire community, we would not be able to successfully assist thousands each year with services to help them overcome their crises.
Not only do these partnerships bring people together and contribute to the overall health of our local communities by preventing homelessness today, they also impact systemic change for the future.
