Repairing Homes, Restoring Hope (RHRH)

The Repairing Homes, Restoring Hope (RHRH) program assists low income homeowners in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. With the disparity between rapidly rising costs of basic needs and stagnant income levels, most low income homeowners are forced to neglect home maintenance and repairs. Many low income seniors and disabled cannot perform or afford to pay for necessary home repairs, although they are capable of living independently. RHRH may be contacted directly by local code enforcement officials, partnering agencies, churches or the homeowner.

Repairing Homes, Restoring Hope partners with volunteers from area churches and organizations to help homeowners with needed repairs. This partnership is vital to the success of  RHRH. We would love to work with your church or organization if you are considering a community service day. The response from volunteers and recipients is always one of joy and pride after a day of community service. Helping those less fortunate in their time of need is a great way to bring the members of your church or organization together.
