Employment

Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service provides employment referral and resource information as a regular part of our case management.  We have also created a Workforce Coordination Program.  This provides hands-on job coaching and employment search counseling to assist our families in reaching self-reliance.

We partner with local Missouri Career Centers assisting our families in obtaining additional training and job placement.  Budget counseling and education are also provided as a standard part of our case management assessment.  We provide referrals to resources that may assist with tuition for education on a limited basis to foster self-reliance or gain employment.  We also welcome the opportunity to provide internships for students in programs of study related to non-profit management and social work.

In July, 2007 the Care Service officially became part of the State of Missouri's Share Network System.  This is a program that provides a service to job seekers and their families offering community support services through Faith-based, Community-based, government and non-profit organizations.  Through the Share Network the Care Service has increased its service area by networking it's recipients with needed services and resources not yet realized in the community earlier.
