Children & Youth Support
Children and
Youth Services is a program that has been designed to assist children who are in
crisis and in need of immediate relief and long term support. A professional
staff works with the children and their families by providing services above and
beyond immediate shelter. A three-pronged approach has been designed to help
families and children remain together. This approach addresses each child’s
educational, mental and physical needs. A rapid referral system is in place to
ensure that children and families receive the supports and services to allow for
the re-integration of children into mainstream activities in the community.
