School Supply Drive 2013
Donations needed through August 1
Homelessness takes a particularly heavy toll on children. The lack of stability causes many to fall behind in school and suffer from anxiety, depression, and social withdrawal. The simple act of providing a needy kid with school supplies will help them fit in, raise self-esteem, and gain confidence to become a good student and get an education.
Thank you for your support over the years! With your help we can ensure that the neediest boys and girls are better prepared for the upcoming school year.
Requested items include: Pencil Boxes, Pencil Bags, Yellow Highlighters, School Glue, Glue Sticks, 2-Pocket Folders, Wide-Ruled Loose Leaf Paper and Basic Calculators.
Questions? Call us at (636) 441-1302, ext. 262 or 263.

Celebrating Our 31st Birthday!
To commemorate our 31st birthday, Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service hosted a Children’s Hunger Awareness Forum on July 26th to further public awareness of the plight our children face each day, such as the insecurity of not knowing where their next meal will come from. Many organizations and individuals came together to to speak with experts and families (who have been through it first-hand) to discuss the hunger crisis that is affecting children in our local neighborhoods today.
In celebrating our accomplishments as a community, we asked for your continued support of this critical issue. Thank you for sharing in our vision – to uphold and maintain the dignity of all people through ecumenical and community collaboration and for participating in our mission, “to serve those in crisis and to prevent homelessness and hunger.”
